Before pursuing Chinese Medicine, I studied psychology at Harvard University and then worked as an intervention specialist in autism classrooms in the bay area. In 2011 I completed my M.S. in Oriental Medicine at Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley. To supplement my training I also interned with Dr. Robert Zeiger, OMD, PharmD and studied classical herbal medicine with Huang Huang in Nanjing, China.
I have seen well over a thousand patient visits through working in various settings–community acupuncture, volunteering, and private practice. Currently I work as an onsite acupuncturist at the Center for Elders Independence, a program that provides care to low-income older adults in the east bay, in addition to seeing patients at Berkeley Community Acupuncture and in my home office. I am also available for housecalls in the east bay.
